Think&Go NFC launches a solution to create tight link between retailers and consumers using Home Shopping and consumer customizable personalized service.
France, Marseille – 12th January 2012 – Think&Go NFC, the leading provider of NFC-Shopping solutions, introduces its consumer customizable Home Shopping solution for Retailers. The solution consists of a mobile app, a Home Shopping board and a web site where consumers preferred services can be configured. The consumer feedback reports that 100% consumers gain significant time while shopping and accessing personalized services. NFC Home Shopping for regularly bought products becomes fun and can be done in seconds compared with minutes using a e-commerce site or mobile app.It is supported by the Think&Go NFC-Shopping platform which manages the product catalogue, couponing and special offers, and links to the retailer’s e-commerce installation to ensure fulfillment of the orders.
The Home Shopping board contains 40 or more NFC tags with each tag representing a different service or product. Each tag can easily be reassigned to a different product by scanning the barcode on the products that needs to be reordered. The board is designed to be set up on a wall or on a refrigerator and consists of three areas, product ordering, local services, and brand services.
A set of strategic Partners including Dassault Systemes’ Social Innovation Platform, 3DSwYm brings key additional features.
Although smartphones are already changing the face of retailing the difficulty of navigating to products on mobile devices has made Mobile Home Shopping too difficult for the average consumer. NFC technology changes all that and now a consumer can just touch places on their Home Shopping board to add products to their virtual basket before checking out using mobile payments systems such as PayPal. Consumers can then be delivered at home or at a drive-in.
This application is ideal for re-ordering recurring consumer goods. Studies show that consumers usually order the same basic 20-30 products on the web.
To add incentives for consumers to use their Home Shopping board it also allows them to access personalized information services with a single touch of their smartphones. These services will concentrate on local services such as the program of a nearby movie theatre, bus timetables, a call to their pizza delivery or access to weather forecasts. The personalized services can be configured using the myNFCspace.com web site.
Finally a set of fixed services allow retailers to offer daily coupon offers, gather consumer feedback through daily opinion polls or easily reach emergency services.
“We believe that NFC will enter in our day-to-day life because it eases access to information. Building on our NFC-Shopping solution, we have created this exciting generic solution for Retailers based on the concepts tested and validated in trials with Casino supermarket chain” said Vincent Berge CEO and Founder of Think&Go NFC “We will soon be testing with customers selected by the “Institut de la vision” in Paris, whose objective is to allow partially sighted people to remain autonomous in their everyday lives.
Think&Go NFC will be present at NRF 2012 from 15-18 January 2012 in New York City, USA to demonstrate their NFC-Shopping and Home shopping solutions.
